During half term, Panther Cubs spent the day at the Shuttleworth Collection.
It was a packed and memorable visit, with hands-on activities and a real insight into the world of wartime aviation. The Cubs had the chance to sit in a vintage aircraft, explore the site and even try their hand at operating anti-aircraft guns. They also watched an impressive range of planes take off and land, including a gyroscopic aircraft.
Most importantly, they learnt a huge amount while having a great time together. By the end of the day, every Cub had earned their Air Activities Stage 2 badge.
